アンケート enquête
（日本語）アンケート (Enquête) とは、ある一定の論題を調べるために大勢の人数に対して同一の質問をすることで、世の中の様々な事象や人々の意見を収集するために、質問形式によって回答データを収集する調査の方式やその活動のことです。アンケートは、特定の期間内に様々な調査方法で様式化された質問で回答を求め、データを収集します。アンケートは、市場調査やアンケート調査などでよく使われます。アンケートは、獲得したい情報に対してすでに知見を持っている専門家、ユーザーに対して調査を行うことです。
アンケートは、回答の統計的な分析を目的に作成されることが多いが、必ずしもそうとは限らない。質問票は、他の調査ツールに比べ、安価であること、口頭や電話による調査ほど質問者の労力を必要としないこと、そして多くの場合、標準的な回答があるためデータを簡単にまとめることができるという利点がある。しかし、標準的な回答は、考えられる回答が自分の望む回答を正確に表していないことがあり、利用者をイライラさせることがある。また質問票は、回答者が質問を読んでそれに答えなければならないという事実によっても大きな制限がある。したがって、一部の人口集団にとっては、アンケートによる調査を実施することが具体的に実現不可能な場合がある。

A questionnaire is a survey method or activity that collects response data by means of a question format to gather various events and people's opinions in the world by asking the same question to a large number of people to investigate a certain issue. Questionnaires collect data by asking stylized questions in a variety of survey methods within a specific time period. Questionnaires are often used in market research and surveys. A questionnaire is a survey of experts and users who already have knowledge about the information you wish to acquire.
Questionnaires are often, but not always, designed for statistical analysis of responses. Compared to other survey tools, questionnaires have the advantages of being inexpensive, not requiring as much effort from the questioner as verbal or telephone surveys, and often have standardized responses that make it easy to compile data. However, standardized responses can frustrate users because the possible answers may not accurately represent the answers they want. Questionnaires are also greatly limited by the fact that respondents must read the questions and answer them. Thus, for some population groups, it may not be specifically feasible to conduct a survey by questionnaire.
